JAM Attari
Founding partner
Jam Attari is a Founding Partner at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Jam was the CEO of BayWa r.e. Solar Projects - a division of the publicly traded BayWa AG - where he led the division from $1M in revenue and operating losses to over $350M in profitable revenue. Jam spearheaded the Americas IPP strategy, driving owned development of 6+ GW of renewable power and managing a team of 100 across origination, engineering, finance, supply chain, construction, and services. Prior to BayWa, Jam held senior positions at AMSOLAR International, Archstone Consulting, the Sapient Corporation, and Ernst & Young. He served as the Chairman of Sustain OC for nearly four years.

Founding partner
Jared Quient is a Founding Partner at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Jared was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of BayWa r.e. Solar Projects for eight years. Jared led commercial negotiations that expanded BayWa’s utility-scale pipeline from 8MW to 6GW by 2022, and led the negotiation of the first in-market PPA structure allowing multiple counter-parties to participate in a single asset. Prior to BayWa, Jared held positions with AMSOLAR International and Kirkland & Ellis.
Jared studied History and Political Science at San Diego State University, and received his J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law.

Macsun Frederick
Founding partner
Macsun Frederick is a Founding Partner at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Macs was the Head of Origination and then VP of M&A at BayWa r.e. Solar Projects for seven years. Macs led the Company’s market strategy and entry into utility-scale markets throughout the US, originating and acquiring over 5GW of solar and storage assets and managing partnerships on over 2.5GW of pipeline. Prior to BayWa, Macs was Development Manager of Solar Operations for Rosendin Electric.
Macs studied International Relations and Economics at Boston University.

Bill Gulley is a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Pathway Power, focused on portfolio management, project finance, capital structuring, and M&A. Prior to joining Pathway, Bill was CFO of BayWa r.e. Solar Projects and Managing Director of BayWa’s US IPP business. During his time at BayWa, he built the Americas’ structured finance, corporate finance and portfolio management teams, oversaw over $600 million in equity investment and led nearly $2 billion of M&A and financing transactions for renewables and storage projects. Prior to entering the energy business, Bill spent a decade in TMT investment banking and middle market private equity.
Bill studied Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Robert Owlett
director of origination
Robert Owlett is the Director of Origination at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Bob was an Origination Manager at BayWa r.e. Solar Projects for three years. Bob led utility-scale solar and storage project origination in the MISO and ERCOT markets, managing asset acquisition, strategy, and offtake for a pipeline of over 1GW. Prior to BayWa, Bob was an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities.
Bob studied Economics and Finance at Claremont McKenna College, and received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Carly keatts
director of development
Carly Keatts is the Director of Development at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Carly was a project manager at New Urban West, Inc for our over four years. While there, Carly led land development, community relations, and marketing for mid-sized and mixed-use real estate development projects - working across multiple jurisdictions and difficult permitting dynamics. Prior to New Urban West, Carly held senior positions with NextGen Healthcare, ONE Industries, and Mabey Bridge & Shore.
Carly studied History & Religious Studies at Elon University.

Delacey Machus is a Development Manager at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Delacey was a Land Services Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants. While there, Delacey represented clients in the renewable energy sector by securing land for utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects - working on 10 campaigns across 13 states.
Delacey studied Marine and Conservation Biology at the University of Washington.

Kael Berkley

Kael Berkley is a Finance Associate at Pathway Power. Prior to Pathway, Kael held junior positions at several private investment firms including Sorenson Capital Partners, the University Growth Fund, and Hunter Pacific. Kael has contributed to over a dozen closed transactions, including equity raises for companies like Neo4J, Arcadia, Lilt, Lucid Software, and PrimeTrust. He met the founding team as an M&A analyst for BayWa r.e. Solar Projects, where he worked on a prospective multi-national acquisition.
Kael studied Quantitative Economics at the University of Utah.
